RBI 90 Quiz Registration 2025: The RBI Quiz Competition, often known as RBI90Quiz, is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to win cash awards. On August 20, 2025, the Reserve Bank of India issued a notification concerning the launch of this quiz competition for all college-going undergraduates. The RBI began this quiz competition to commemorate its 90th anniversary in the country. The quiz will a multi-leveled General Knowledge quiz that will conclude at the National Level.
The Governor of India, Sri Shaktikanta Das, stated that this quiz will aid in increasing youth knowledge of the RBI. With the prevalence of financial and digital fraud on the rise, this quiz contest will inspire the next generation of citizens to confidently face such incidents. Qualifications for the Quiz
The following are some of the highly regarded qualifying standards that the RBI Quiz Competition contestants ought to adhere to.
- Has to a citizen of India.
- Must a part of a Bachelor’s degree program in any stream and at any recognized college or university.
- The applicants’ age as of September 1, 2025, cannot greater than 25.

Registration Guidelines for the Quiz
Here are some important rules you should aware of before registering for the quiz.
- Teams of no more than two applicants from the same college may participate in the quiz.
- The number of teams from a single college that can register is unlimited.
- The quiz has no registration costs.
- Teams can submit their college information using the Colleges Tab, Contact Us Form, Helpline, and Live Chat if their college isn’t on the list. When their college is included on the list, the participants will receive an email notifying them of this.
- For verification, each team member should supply their name, gender, birthdate as listed on their Class 10th certificate, college student ID number, cell phone number, and email address.
- In the event that any team members need to modified, the registration can erased and replaced with a new one.
- Visually impaired candidates must indicate their condition during registration by checking the appropriate box. Verification of documents will required.
- Both team members will receive login credentials following the verification, which they can use to begin the quiz.
Documents Required for the Quiz
Apart from the guidelines, you must also know about the documents that you have to submit during the in-person round, which takes place offline. Here is a list of documents to carry along.
- Identification proof in the form of a College ID or Aadhar Card
- Class 10th Certificate for birth date
- College ID to prove you are a student of that particular college.
- Passport-sized photographs
- Certificate to acknowledge if you have opted for the option for Visually-Impaired candidate.
Registration Process for the Quiz
Once you are aware of the Registration Guidelines, here is the process through which you can register for the quiz.
- For registration visit the official website and click on the student registration button.
- Choose the State name, District Name, and college name.
- To begin, enter your State/Union Territory, District, and College.
- If your college is not listed, click ‘Register here’ at the bottom of the box to register it.
- Then, enter the details of both team members.
- If you are visually impaired, click on the box while entering individual details.
- Click the confirmation box to confirm that you understand and agree to the RBI quiz rules.
- Review the details again and click the Submit button.
- You should receive a confirmation message or email shortly with your registered contact information.
Format of the Quiz
The RBI has issued the quiz format so that participants can better understand and prepare for it.
- The quiz will administered in teams of two, with both team members answering the quiz from the same device.
- Participants will have to complete 36 multiple-choice questions.
- It is a timed exam in which players must answer each question within 25 seconds, with visually impaired applicants given an additional 25 seconds on each question.
- You can select your preferred language from English and Hindi.
- You will receive one point for each correct question, with no penalty for incorrect responses.
RBI would post sample quizzes on its portal so that the participant can practice for a better understanding.
Tie Breaker Rules of the Quiz
Ties, if any, will resolved on the basis of the least amount of time taken for completing the quiz. For the teams with visually impaired student/s, the actual time taken will halved. If ties still remain, the decision will based on the number of difficult questions answered correctly. In case ties still persist, the decision will taken based on the amount of time taken to attempt those difficult questions.
Technical criteria for online rounds of the Quiz
i. The platform is compatible with all internet browsers. A reliable internet connection will necessary.
ii. Right-clicking, copying, and opening another tab/window are disabled, and the quiz will submitted automatically.
Selection for subsequent rounds of the Quiz
i. Based on participation, a maximum of two teams per college will selected from each state[1] for in-person rounds at the state level, subject to verification of registration details.
ii. If a team qualifies through the online quiz, RBI will cover travel and lodging expenses for the following rounds, subject to internally defined restrictions.
Other Specifications for the Quiz
i. Teams must refrain from using unfair techniques during the quiz.
ii. There is no registration cost. Any contact from any entity indicating a participation fee in cash or kind is false and should not considered.
iii. By registering for the quiz, the student agrees to receive quiz-related updates/communications from the organizers using his or her contact information. It also indicates that participants who advance to the next rounds consent to being recorded/photographed by electronic and print media for telecast/publication and sole use of such electronic/print material by RBI.
iv. The RBI reserves the right to reject any team’s participation without prior notice or to change the rules and other terms as considered appropriate. All RBI decisions in this regard are final.
v. In the event that a team qualifies for the next round, the information supplied during registration will verified. Any irregularities found will result in disqualification.
vi. Students should carefully study the quiz rules and FAQs, as well as any other revisions.
vii. The Reserve Bank of India reserves the right to amend the rules of the competition, including the right to cancel it at any time without explanation. All relevant changes and announcements will made available on the official website of RBI( rbi.gov.in ).
