Eligibility Criteria: KVS Recruitment 2025

The candidates applying for KVS Teacher are expected to meet the specific educational qualifications for various posts. Refer below for mentioned criterias: 

Educational Qualification :

• Principal
  • A postgraduate degree and B.Ed.
  • Relevant experience of minimum 8 years..
• Vice Principal
  • A postgraduate degree and B.Ed.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• PGT (All Subjects)
  • NCERT’s Regional College of Education in the relevant subject, 2  Year M.Sc. course Integrated Postgraduate.
  • OR a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
• TGT (All Subjects)
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject and B.Ed.
• PRT (All Subjects)
  • A 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education and a Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • OR A 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) and Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks
  • OR A 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) and a Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks
  • OR Bachelor of Education and a graduation with at least 50% marks
• Librarian
  • A bachelor’s degree in Library Science.
  • OR A one-year diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution.
• Assistant Section Officer (ASO)
  • A graduate degree with minimum 3 years of experience as UDC in Central/State Govt., Autonomous Bodies, or PSUs.
• Finance Officer
  • Bachelors in Commerce with at least 50% marks and 4 years of experience in audit and accounts.
  • OR A M.Com graduate with 50% marks and 3 years of experience in audit and accounts.
  • OR A CA (Inter) / ICWA (Inter) / MBA (Finance) / PGDM (Finance )along with a 2 years of experience in audit and accounts.
• Assistant Commissioner
  • A master’s degree with at least 45% marks.
  • A B.Ed. or an equivalent degree.
• Assistant Engineer (Civil)
  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering and a 2 years of experience in design and engineering.
  • OR Dip. in Civil Engineering and a 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Stenographer Grade II
  • A 12th pass or an equivalent from a recognized board /university.
• Senior Secretariat Assistant (SSA)
  • Graduation and a 3 years of experience as LDC in Central Govt. /State Govt. /Autonomous Bodies /PSUs.
• Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
  • A 12th pass or an equivalent  from a recognized board/university.
  • A Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
  • A working knowledge of Hindi and Computer Applications.

KVS Recruitment: Selection Process

The recruitment process will include multiple levels of evaluation. It ensures a fair selection of candidates for this post. Following is the procedure :
