A recruitment drive for 307 vacancies in Junior Executive and Non-Executive positions across Northern India has been announced by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). One of the eligibility criteria is that the applicants must be residents of Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, or Uttarakhand. 

Candidates who are selected will receive a competitive salary with additional benefits, including a CTC of Rs. 13 lakhs per annum. The dates for application for both the roles are mentioned below :

  • The online application start date for Junior Executive roles is February 4, and the last date to submit is March 5, 2025.
  • For the non-executive roles, it is from February 17 to March 18, 2025.

Step-by-Step Application Process :

Step I: Signing Up

  • Complete the important detail section :
    • After applying, enter details like, Candidate Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, etc.
  • Click on the SUBMIT button to get your Application Sequence No. (User ID) and Password on your registered email /mobile.
  • Now click on the “Log Out” tab and re-login for the next steps.

2nd Step : Completing the Application Form

  • Login again and click on the “Go to Application Form” section. 
  • Complete the details like :
    • Category, Personal Details, Qualification Details.
  • Upload your photo, signature, and required documents.
  • Pay Application Fees through the given modes Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, etc., through PayU.

Step III : Upload Documents Required 

  1. Photograph: A white background recent passport-sized photo.
  2. Signature: With a black ink pen sign on white paper .
  3. Supporting Documents: Uploading self-attested copies of the following  :
  • SSLC/Matriculation Certificate as a DOB Proof.
  • Educational Certificates needed for the post).
  • Caste /Community Certificates like SC/ST/OBC/EWS in prescribed formats.
  • Domicile /Residence /Nativity Certificates.
  • Driving License for the post of Junior Assistant Fire Service – Heavy /Medium /Light Vehicle License with particular issuing timelines.
  • Ex-Servicemen: Discharge Certificate, ESM ID, Dependency Certificate for ex-servicemen. 
  • PwBD Candidates: A disability Certificate according to the RPwD Act 2016.
  • Widows/Divorced/Women Judicially Separated: Husband’s Death Certificate, Divorce/Judicial Separation Order, and Affidavit confirming non-remarriage.
  • Experience Certificate for the relevant field.
  • No Objection Certificate for Govt /PSU employees.
  • AAI Identity Card for AAI staff.
  • Ex-Agniveer Certificate from Armed Forces.

Physical Endurance Tests (PET) :

All the tests carry a maximum of 20 marks.

Junior Assistant (Fire Service) / NE-4 a) 10th Pass + 3-year regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire OR

SELECTION PROCESS & SYLLABUS :

1. Senior Assistant (Official Language)

Selection Process:

  • Written Exam (CBT): Is for a duration for 2-hour.
  • Computer Literacy Test in MS Office (Hindi): It is qualifying in nature.
  • Document Verification.

Note: To qualify for the next step, the Computer Literacy Test candidates must pass the CBT test. The final selection is based on CBT merit, subject to passing the Computer Literacy Test.

Syllabus:

  • 50% questions on relevant educational qualifications.
  • 50% questions on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, and English.

Minimum Passing Marks:

  • UR/EWS/OBC: 50%
  • SC/ST/PwD: 40%

2. Senior Assistant (Accounts) :

Selection Process:

  • Written Exam (CBT): Is for a duration for 2-hour.
  • Computer Literacy Test in MS Office (Hindi): It is qualifying in nature.
  • Document Verification.

Note: To qualify for the next step, the Computer Literacy Test candidates must pass the CBT test. The final selection is based on CBT merit, subject to passing the Computer Literacy Test.

3. Senior Assistant (Electronics)

Note: Final selection is based on CBT merit and successful completion of:

  • 12 weeks of Ab-Initio Training.
  • 4 weeks of On-the-Job Training (OJT).

Stipend During Training : ₹25,000/month.

Bond Requirement: Recovery amount bond to be executed in case of resignation during training.

Syllabus:

  • 70% questions on relevant educational qualifications.
  • 30% questions on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, and English.

Minimum Passing Marks:

  • UR/EWS/OBC: 50%
  • SC/ST: 40%

4. Junior Assistant (Fire Service)

Selection Process:

Stage 1:

  • Written Exam (CBT): 2-hour duration.

Syllabus:

  • 50% questions on relevant educational qualifications.
  • 50% questions on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, and English.

Minimum Passing Marks:

  • UR/EWS/OBC: 50%
  • SC/ST: 40%

Stage 2:

  • Biometric Attendance & Document Verification (including Driving License).
  • Physical Measurement & Medical Test.
  • Driving Test (Light Motor Vehicle) for candidates with a valid license.
  • Physical Endurance Test (PET) after passing Driving Test.

Ex-Agniveer Exemption:

Exemption from PET test, but a candidate must meet all the other criteria (age, education, written test, medical standards, physical measurements, driving requirements, and 16 weeks of basic training).
